A certain person has now let me know twice that I need to update my blog. Well all I have to say is this picture better make up for me not blogging since Valentines!!!

Nothing has really been going on....weather is weird...ice one day 60s the next. I took the ice picture on my way to work one day...there was NO ONE on the road it was strange.

I think I have subbed for a teacher everyday this week and we have several kids out of school sick...not good! We are all well here.

Sally seems to think that it is more fun to visit the neighbors then it is to hang out with us, luckily I have a REALLY nice neighbor who says it is no big deal if my puppy crawls under her fence. I personally just want to toss her out right now! It is so strange she has escaped several times and Lucy never gets out, Lucy just sits by the fence and watches her almost as to say 'ha ha your gonna get in trouble and I'm not!!'...who knows though.

So the picture of me was in Tabetha's car, we were on our way to Neosho to try on wedding dresses for her and I asked to borrow some sunglasses she pointed me in the direction of the door, I stick my hand in and this is what comes out!! Automatic immaturity!!!

Someone shared this with me and I thought it would be a nice thing to share with you on the day of love! Happy Valentines Day!

Once upon a time there was an island where all the feelings lived: Happiness, Sadness, Knowledge, and all the others, including Love.
One day it was announced to all of the feelings that the island was going to sink to the bottom of the ocean. All the feelings prepared their boats to leave. Love was the only one that stayed. She wanted to preserve the island paradise until the last possible moment.
When the island was almost totally under, Love decided it was time to leave. She began looking for someone to ask for help.
Just then Richness was passing by in a grand boat. Love asked Richness, "Can I come with you on your boat?" Richness answered, "I'm sorry, but there is a lot of silver and gold on my boat and there would be no room for you anywhere."
Love then decided to ask Vanity, who was passing in a beautiful vessel, for help. Love cried out, "Vanity, help me please." "I can't help you," Vanity said, "You are all wet and will damage my beautiful boat."
Next Love saw Sadness passing by. Love said, "Sadness, please let me go with you." Sadness answered, "Love, I'm sorry, but I just need to be alone now."
Then Love saw Happiness. Love cried out, "Happiness, please take me with you." But Happiness was so overjoyed that he didn't hear Love calling to him.
Love began to cry. Then she heard a voice say, "Come Love, I will take you with me." It was an elder. Love felt so blessed and overjoyed that she forgot to ask the elder his name. When they arrived on land the elder went on his way. Love realized how much she owed the elder.
Love then found Knowledge and asked, "Who was it that helped me?" "It was Time," Knowledge answered. "But why did Time help me when no one else would?" Love asked. Knowledge smiled and with deep wisdom and sincerity answered, "Because only Time is capable of understanding how great Love is."

Tag.....I'm it!

So I read several blogs and a lot of them have had 'tags' on them over time and I wanted to be tagged, then it hits me no one is going to tag me! So I am going to tag myself mainly because I am not in the best mood today and I have homework to do....so what do I do? I blog!

1. Name your two favorite scrapbooking topics: My girls and now my dogs

2. Where are the two best places you’ve been to? Nashville and Cocoa Beach

3. Name two things you do every day: Shower and intake some kind of caffeine

4. Tell us two things that pretty much everyone knows about you: I have twins kids and twin dogs and I am looking for prince charming

5. Tell us two things that everyone DOESN’T know about you: I want to be a house wife and I wouldn't mind being a starving artist.

6. Tell us two things that got you into the hobby of scrapping:My kids and working at Creations Unlimited

7. Tell us two things that you want to accomplish in the next six months: Get straight A's and lose 10lbs.

8. Name your two favorite scrapping tools:Mono glue and fiskars scissors

9. Name your two favorite sources of scrapping inspiration: Two Peas in a Bucket...and blogs

10. How has your scrapping changed since you started? It actually looks good now (at least I think it does)

11. What scrapbooking project have you yet to try but would love to? making those acrylic mini albums

Ok so I am going to Tag Jennifer because I think she might be one of the few people who reads this blog that has a blog of their own. And she might need a bit and non homework thinking too!!!

The tonsils are gone!

Day 1 : We had been home for just a few hours.....so that means that the GOOD meds that they gave her at the hospital are still working not too much going on. I think she only got one nap in when they told me she would sleep all day.
Day 2: She has stopped talking and is a bit of a whiner. We will make it though...that is if Aubrey will leave her alone.
If the dogs aren't outside they have been curled up with her, espically Lucy. Lucy is such a sweet natured dog and I think she knows that it is not right for Bailey to be acting like this since Bailey is usually the one bugging her.
This one is last today....she has the zombie eyes....tylenol with codeine is a good thing, I just wish she owuld go to sleep! Poor Kid!

And this is just the pups....I looked over the other day and saw this, how cute are they?!?!

I have waited too long for this for us to have to reschedule it!!! I am still doing homework and working and taking care of them. Not much else going on but I found this today on yahoo and thought that is was so funny I had to share!!
WARNING there are some foul words but there are some others that are too funny!!

Hold on to your hats, two posts in one day!

Something happened today and while this may appear to be a naughty puppy post its not (well not totally). Bailey yells from the living room "mom the dogs have your glove" by the time I make it in there this is what it looks like, my dry clean only blue angora gloves are no more. That is when it happened, I started to get sad because of where the gloves came from and the memories behind them then I realized that one its a material possession and two those are memories I don't want. The past, times that really weren't all that happy.
When I was talking to someone this weekend I was told that change is good, look to the horizon I said I was going to write that on my arm in sharpie and after this morning I just might. So the gloves go in the trash and I am still smiling. This year really will be better.

Dan is the Man!

Last night we went to see Daniel play ball. It was the first game that we have been to and I regret that but boy did we pick a game to go to!!! Daniel played great!! The other boys were good too I guess but Daniel had 6 3 point shots!! The beat Parkview 60-54, it was close at a few points and you only looked with one eye open but they did great! Good Job Dan (even though I don't like calling you that!). I hope next Friday goes as well!

Well I couldn't post again without any pictures so here is Sally being a bit naughty again...had to take a picture and then she got in trouble.
So I went out tonight, I haven't been out in awhile as most of you know. Little to sheltered I guess. It was nice though, went to dinner had a great conversation. The best part is, I'm not stressed. I had butterflies when I got there but by the end of the evening I was happy. You know that high that you used to get when you were young and it makes you smile like a dork for days. Its great to be a dork sometimes. A lame dork is even better ;) Anyway, I had fun and it was great but I am not stressed about it. I am going to take it for what it is and that is was a fun night and enjoy the moment and keep smiling. Just had to share my happiness with you all. Goodnight!
UPDATE:For those of you who might question it, I do clean my table before I let people eat off it! :)

Well I really don't have any pictures to share because I am not on the picture a day band wagon, although I love the people who are!
News; Bailey will have her tonsils out on January 30th, she is a little nervous but I am sure she will be fine (I am just going to keep saying that), she will be missing pajama day at school though which Aubrey is upset about even though Aubrey still gets to go.
Aubrey has lost two of her bottom teeth (guess I could have taken a picture of that!).
I started back to school Monday...wow...it will be a long haul lets just leave it there.

As for now I will leave you with a blog that I really enjoyed. If it is possible to fall in love with words this person grabs me everytime they write. Hope it makes you think.

The only way to live is to accept each minute as an unrepeatable miracle, which is exactly what it is: a miracle and unrepeatable."Storm Jameson

Life is a string of moments, a spine tingling sequence of magical moments. Miraculous, electrifying, life changing moments one after another. Frozen in time moments that will never be repeated again. Yet how many of us fritter away a large portion of our momentous moments in a succession of relatively unexciting, uninspiring and generally unproductive activities? Way too many.
How about you? Do you habitually squeeze all the fun and excitement you can from each and every day, seeking to make each day your best day ever? Or does one day after another seem to blur together into an inconsequential haze? The way you approach these extraordinary moments systematically shapes the life you get to enjoy. If you're going to make the most of your life, you must start making the most of each magical moment.
When you energetically embrace life's precious moments, filling each thrilling minute with electrically charged enthusiasm, your life will instantly take on heightened meaning and increased passion. You will soon finding yourself loving the life that you live and living the life that you love. This was something that I missed out on for a large chunk of my life, that I now know I will never get back.
When you think about it, the only time you control is the moment at hand. After all, yesterday is gone and will soon be a distant memory. And tomorrow is never promised to any of us. That leaves us just one day the most important day ? the only day that ever counts. And that day is today. A day chock full of magical moments. A day that we'll cherish forever. Wasting even a minute, much less an hour or two, of the only day you will ever have is a mistake any of us can ill afford to make.
Why not set your sights on making today the greatest day of your life? Right this very moment! When you start squeezing all the living you can from every moment, you'll start adding magic to your life.
You need to seize the day right here and right now, right this very moment. Why wait and allow hundreds or even thousands of moments to slip right through your fingers? Don't wait or hesitate, but get busy and start snatching these marvelous moments before you lose them forever.

Elsie Challenge!!

Ok so I said that my resolution was to step out of my box.....here goes nothing. I am posting this page for all to see. Elsie has put up a challenge on her blog (link to the right) to make a page that shows how we evolved in 2007. Here is my page. Now posting pages on here is one thing but there will be a link on her blog....now that is a whole other ball park. If anything...it was fun and I got a page done.

Happy New Year

You know everyone makes those new years resolutions that they never keep...you know exercise more...stuff like that. Yeah I need to exercise more but I thought my resolution should be a little more fun. This year I am going to step out of my box. I am going to enter pages, I am going to talk to people that I normally wouldn't, I am going to be more brave in daily life, what is the worst thing that could happen? We had so many changes in 2007 that it seems like I should make inner changes in 2008. Lets see how it goes.......Happy New Year everyone!!!

Oh no Mr. Bill the puppy is going to eat you!!!

I love to make Christmas cookies.....well just cookies in general. This year we has our Giant to help, and boy did he. He was the master baker and I was the dishwasher.
The puppies even took a liking to him, but who doesn't like Giant? Such a great guy, even gets spiders off the ceiling!
This is one of Giant's cookies and I really think it looks like Mr. Bill. Every time I look at it I hear that high pitched voice 'oh noooo!' it makes me laugh. So I will not be eating this one....don't know what we will do with it maybe it will fly home with Giant and be a combo Mr. Bill and flat Stanley.

Here is their mess of cookies and my kitchen table covered in flour!!
And this....this is the end of me. Our sweet Sally can now reach the kitchen table. I am sure that Lucy is not far behind but Sally Oh Sally. She gets up there and walks along on her back legs sniff sniff sniffing the whole time every once in awhile her tongue slips out to see if something tastes good. Its one of those things that you just want to watch and laugh but you know that it is so naughty. Better stop it now before they get even bigger.

Well Merry Christmas Eve to all!

my oh my!

We went to Tennessee for Thanksgiving, everyone was excited!! We got there day before Thanksgiving, had Thanksgiving dinner, then Friday..........it happened! Baby Garrison was sick and apparently it was very contagious.......the whole family went down except my Dad. Marijo's (Garrisons Mommy) whole family went down except her Dad. 20 people in all sick from one small sweet little boy. We didn't get to go shopping or play...we made one small trip to the factory to get the girls picture in the giant rocker and that is all I have to share from that trip.
We were going to get a puppy for the girls for early Christmas. Her name was to be Lucy, and it is Lucy.....but we have Sally now also. Lucy and Sally our little peanuts. Yes I am crazy.
Did the Cecil Floyd Craft Show again this year. Couple of the same girls and a new one in the mix. We have loads of fun....didn't come home rich to say the least but it is SO fun to play and be together.

It has been over ten days since my last post and I am feeling bad about that. I know that my thousands of loyal readers (Jennifer) will be so upset by this fact. I really don't have a whole lot to share. I enroll for next semester in the morning at 9:30, I am excited for the new classed but VERY ready for the four week break!!! We leave next Wednesday for Tennessee, excited about that trip but it is my favorite part of the year. The girls are pulling that sisterly love thing the past few weeks I hope that will start to change soon. Other then that we are pretty boring. I will leave you with an old pic since I haven't taken new pics lately, there will be lots to tell and pictures to show after next week no worries loyal readers!! This is the girls at Aunt Barb and Uncle Jim's pond last year at Thanksgiving.

Happy Halloween, hat day, & Birthday!

Like always it has been a busy few days, whats new. We of course went trick or treating, still tired from that but always fun. Went to see a few friends and Nana made chili so it was a good night....and gee we came home with a ton of candy! Joy!
This past week at school was 'H' week so that made Friday hat day! I personally think that the girls had the best hats since most of the kids wore baseball hats but I do think my kids are the cutest!
Then last night we had Amber and 'baby' Jennifer over for dinner, cake and ice cream. It was Amber's birthday so we sang and made her blow out the candles (I am sure she will be so happy with this picture! It was fun.
Well today is ballet and house cleaning so I better get on it!

I think we are ready

I'm not sure but I think we might be ready for Halloween.....Our house has spider webs all over, we have 5 pumpkins (3 carved & 2 not), we have our 'boo' garland, and we have an Elsie style skeleton on our front door. Yep I think we are good to go.....now in 4 days I will have to take it all down! JOY! No I really do enjoy it and pumpkin carving night has seemed to be one of our best nights of the year, very relaxed and fun. Mike has Wednesdays off for awhile so last Wednesday Mike and his Mom came over and they carved pumpkins and I made pizza. It was a good night they girls had fun and I always like homemade pizza. They girls like it too because they get to get messy and it is the one time that I actually say it is okay to sit on the kitchen table.
Life has been a little crazy lately but we are making it through. School is busy for all of us and life in general has had its ups and downs......we are alive though! Enjoy your Halloween, be safe!!

the purple hand

In the crazy life we have had these days with all three of us going to school and still trying to unpack the house, there are those moments where I think, 'this is an ok mess'. You know, purple chalk handprints on the back door can stay for awhile. I know that soon enough they will be tired of playing with chalk and on to other things so right now, the purple hand stays.

We'er here!

Well it was one long weekend but we are here with the thanks of great family! Most importantly Aunt Carolyn. Also thank you to Uncle Gabe, Grandmother, Papa, Mom, Dad, and Denise the weekend would have been much longer had I not had all the help! Can't forget Aunt Chris and the other Wares, Nana, and Shelly for keeping the girls all weekend! Now for the pictures! The first one is the house of course! Then the half of the room with green walls and pink dots is Aubrey's, and the half with Pink walls and green dots is Bailey's (note the unmade bed). The butterfly is a totally awesome nightlight that Aunt Barbara sent them, it is fiber optic so when it lights up it looks like the wings are moving, awesome. Then the last picture is all you will see of my room for right now. That is my dresser with my cool new drawer pulls that Mike bought me. There is still a lot more to do but it is coming along. I can't park my car in the garage but hopefully I will soon.
